The coastline of Vallehermoso preserves some of the most authentic and peaceful corners of northern La Gomera.

Vallehermoso Beach and Maritime Park

Vallehermoso Beach, located just three kilometers from the town center, is a wide stretch of pebbles bathed by the Atlantic and surrounded by beautiful scenery. Next to it is the Maritime Park, a complex of artificial pools and leisure areas open during spring and summer. With parking, a restaurant, and accessible facilities, this space offers a safe alternative to the waves, ideal for enjoying the sea and the natural environment of the municipality.

Alojera Beach

Más al oeste, la Alojera Beach muestra la otra cara del litoral: un enclave resguardado entre acantilados, de arena oscura y aguas limpias, que conserva la esencia pesquera del barrio. Con acceso por carretera, zona de aparcamiento y varios restaurantes cercanos, esta playa combina autenticidad y tranquilidad. Es un lugar perfecto para pasar el día junto al mar, disfrutar de la puesta de sol y sentir la calma de uno de los núcleos costeros más pintorescos de La Gomera.

La Rajita Beach and Other Enclaves

Toward the south, La Rajita Beach opens among cliffs and coastal vegetation. With a wilder and more isolated character, its little-intervened environment invites rest and direct contact with nature. Although it lacks services, it has a conditioned access and offers a unique landscape, with the constant murmur of the sea and the wind running through the nearby ravines.

The collection of these beaches reflects the coastal diversity of Vallehermoso, complemented by more secluded enclaves like Puerto Trigo, a small pebble cove framed by vertical walls, or Argaga, shared with the neighboring municipality of Valle Gran Rey, where the cliff merges with the ocean in one of the islands most spectacular panoramas. Each corner shows a different facet of this Atlantic coastline, rugged and serene, where the sea continues to mark the rhythm of the landscape and local life.
